ROCCO & DENIS

Though the name isn't used much, The Sugar Hit is a collaboration between Denis Carnahan and cartoonist/animator Rocco Fazzari celebrating the the comical capers of Australia's Federal Parliament. The animations are published weekly on Thursday afternoons on Fairfax websites: (Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times The Canberra Times & WA Today) during parliamentary sitting seasons.

Sugar Hit songs and animations were also used by The Seven Network in their 2013 Federal Election coverage, and The Walkleys foundation commissioned an end of year political review song for The Walkley's Awards 2013 and 2014, and for their press freedom dinner in 2014.

And speaking of Fairfax, The Member for Fairfax, Mr Clive Palmer MP, played our tribute to him "It's Clive!" at his campaign launch, and as his intro for radio interviews.
