| It all comes down to songwriting. Denis has a fascination with the English language and with expression. He loves the challenge of songwriting - telling a story cleanly and concisely, while winding it through rhythm and melody for emphasis and emotion. He approaches it as an artist, continually critically reviewing his work and striving to raise the bar. He sees no difference between writing parodies, satire and tongue in cheek social observation, writing moving songs of love and loss, or writing themes for TV shows.
